Mina was a cow from a Slovene farm included in the triptych titled "Feeding Time - Filtered" which captures the cows in the original barn setting during their dinner. Ješe has spent quite a lot of time with these subjects and got to know them quite well. She also named them, since they didn't have any names before she started painting them.
 
This particular cow was quite calm but not too friendly. She was the mother of Mimi, the little calf depicted in the painting "Mimi in Hay" and "Immaculate Conception".
 
The filter I decided to use for the colour palette is very warm, with a lot of orange and beige tones, only the shadows are blueish. The stream of warm colour flows over the white mark on her face.
