Fat Lady was a cow from a Slovenian farm featured in the triptych titled "Feeding Time - Filtered," which captures the cows in their original barn setting during dinner. Ješe spent a significant amount of time with these subjects and got to know them well. She also named them, as they didn't have names before she started painting them.
 
As the name suggests, this particular cow was quite well-fed, which made her the first in line for a one-way trip among the entire group Ješe worked with.
 
At the time of painting this piece, Ješe was exploring photo filters and chose to use a pinkish tone here. She covered some parts of the portrait with golden leaves, creating a sense of movement and bustle on both edges of the painting. Another cow also enters the frame from the right.
